What this policy covers
This policy explains how ProSolve Ltd, trading as DatSov (“we”, “us”), uses cookies and similar technologies on datsov.co.uk, datsov.uk, and datsov.com(collectively, “the site”). It supplements our Privacy Policy and complies with the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR.
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the site to function and cannot be switched off. They do not track you for marketing purposes and do not require your consent.
- datsov_region_override — set for 24 hours when you choose to stay on a specific regional domain (e.g. datsov.com from the UK). Prevents the site from redirecting you back to the default domain. Strictly functional; not used for tracking.
Analytics cookies (require consent)
We use Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors interact with the site. This service sends a lightweight beacon to Vercel's infrastructure when a page is viewed. Vercel Analytics is configured in privacy mode: it does not use persistent cookies, does not build cross-site user profiles, and does not share data with advertising networks.
Vercel Inc. (399 Bush St, San Francisco CA 94104, USA) acts as a data processor for this purpose. Data may be transferred to the United States under Vercel's Standard Contractual Clauses. Analytics data is aggregated and not linked to identifiable individuals.
Analytics will not load until you click “Accept all” in the cookie banner. If you click “Reject all”, no analytics beacon is sent for that session or future sessions until you change your preference.
What we do NOT use
This site does not load any of the following:
- Advertising or retargeting pixels (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, etc.)
- Session-recording or heatmap tools (Hotjar, Clarity, FullStory, etc.)
- Live-chat widgets that load third-party scripts passively
- Social-media tracking buttons or embedded feeds
Third-party services (user-initiated only)
The following third-party services are only contacted when you actively take an action — they make no network requests passively and set no cookies without your interaction:
- Stripe (buy.stripe.com) — clicking a Buy Now button opens Stripe's checkout in a new tab. Stripe's own Privacy Policy and cookie practices apply from that point. Stripe Inc. is an independent data controller for checkout data.
- Cal.com (cal.eu) — clicking 'Initiate Architecture Call' opens Cal.com's scheduling page. Cal.com's own Privacy Policy applies.
- Web3Forms (api.web3forms.com) — submitting an enquiry form POSTs your form data to Web3Forms, which forwards it to us by email. No passive tracking.
Managing your preferences
You can change your cookie preference at any time by clicking “Cookie settings” in the footer. Your choice is stored in your browser's localStorage (not as an HTTP cookie) under the key datsov_cookie_consent. Clearing your browser storage will reset your preference to undecided and the banner will reappear.
You can also block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Note that disabling the datsov_region_override cookie may cause the site to redirect you to a different regional domain.
