What is sovereign infrastructure?
Sovereign infrastructure is digital infrastructure — compute, communications, identity, storage, and backup — that an organisation fully owns and controls, with no third-party custody of its data or encryption keys. DatSov deploys sovereign stacks to a client's own environment or to UK-soil managed datacentres, so the client owns the code, the data, and the decision record outright.
What does DatSov do?
DatSov is a UK-registered cyber security and data-sovereignty consultancy. It deploys encrypted sovereign workspaces, migrates organisations off Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, delivers penetration testing and Cyber Essentials certification, deploys private LLMs on client-owned infrastructure, and provides UK GDPR compliance services — each engagement run by a single accountable Dedicated Technical Lead.
How is DatSov different from a Big-4 consultancy or an MSSP?
Three ways: one accountable Dedicated Technical Lead owns each engagement end to end instead of a rotating bench; pricing is fixed and published rather than quoted opaquely; and every engagement ends with a total ownership handover — the client keeps the code, the data, and the decision record, so no vendor dependency is created.
What does data sovereignty cost in the UK?
DatSov publishes fixed prices: an Encrypted Sovereignty Deployment for up to 10 users is £1,295; a fully managed UK-datacentre sovereign deployment is £5,950; an on-premise deployment is £7,950; and a full migration from Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 is £1,950 for up to 10 users. All prices exclude VAT, which is not currently charged.
Can a UK company run private AI without US cloud providers?
Yes. DatSov deploys private LLMs on sovereign, client-owned infrastructure from £9,950, with ongoing hosting and management at £795 per month. Models run entirely inside the client's boundary — no prompts, documents, or telemetry leave the estate, and no US cloud provider holds the data.
What is zero-knowledge data governance?
Zero-knowledge data governance is a model in which the service provider is technically unable to read the client's data: files and secrets are encrypted client-side before leaving the device, and recovery keys are held by the client alone. DatSov builds this property into its encrypted vault, backup, and email architecture rather than relying on contractual promises.
Does DatSov provide penetration testing and Cyber Essentials?
Yes. DatSov delivers guided Cyber Essentials certification for £1,150, Cyber Essentials Plus with hands-on technical verification for £4,450, and a 3-day CREST-managed penetration test with a full written report and remediation guidance for £6,950.
